Job summary

Afford Disability Services in Caboolture and Bribie Island seeks an experienced Service Manager to lead our Homes and Living services, guiding a team of Support Workers to deliver safe, person-centred care.

Reporting to the Operations Manager – Homes and Living, you will oversee rostering, client goals and NDIS plans, ensure quality and compliance, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement while travel between sites as required.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 in Disability/Aged Care/Individual Support is required.
• Experience leading disability/human services teams.
• Experience managing financial performance of service delivery teams.
• Strong person-centred service delivery and client outcomes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client information systems.
• WWCC/Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, Police Check.
• Current Australian C Class driver’s licence and ability to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support teams to deliver safe, high-quality services.
• Build relationships with clients, families, carers and external stakeholders.
• Oversee onboarding and retention of clients within Homes and Living services.
• Manage rosters and client-to-staff matching.
• Ensure services align with client goals, preferences and NDIS plans.
• Lead a values-driven culture with accountability and collaboration.
• Manage staff performance, development and workforce capability.
• Coordinate with Head Office for payroll, timesheets and people processes.
• Monitor service quality, risks, incidents, complaints and compliance.
• Support continuous improvement through client feedback.
• Monitor budgets and financial performance within your area.
• Collaborate with the wider service delivery leadership team to achieve goals.
• Drive between Homes and Living sites and undertake interstate travel.
