Job summary

Interaction Disability Services in Australia seeks an Accommodation Service Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of Supported Independent Living homes in the Western Suburbs and to manage a team of support workers.

You will support participants with daily living activities, personal care and community participation, while collaborating with families and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, person-centred supports.

Qualifications

• Flexibility and availability to work across a range of shifts.
• Certificate III, Certificate IV or Diploma in sector preferred or a willingness to obtain.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.
• Current driver’s license and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain prior to commencement of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of SIL homes and manage a team.
• Support participants with daily living activities and personal care.
• Foster community participation, skill development, health and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with families and stakeholders to deliver person-centred supports.
