The role requires at least 5 years in professional baking, relevant baking or pastry qualifications, ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays, and the stamina to stand long hours. English proficiency essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a professional bakery setting.
• Relevant qualifications in baking or pastry arts.
• Strong understanding of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy ingredients.
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, to ensure effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure the timely production of bakery items to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage the ordering of ingredients and supplies.
• Develop new recipes and bakery products to enhance the product range.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient operations and high-quality outputs.
• Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet established standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and address any feedback or concerns promptly.
