Woolworths Ltd. is seeking an AI/ML Data Engineer – Senior/Lead to design, build, and deploy AI tools across Woolworths Group on Google Cloud.

You’ll work end‑to‑end across backend, frontend, and cloud, shipping production‑grade code with coding agents in a cross‑functional squad. You’ll lead AI product development, set evaluation standards, monitor models, and stay current with agent frameworks and LLM integrations.

Competenze

• Senior engineer with hands-on AI focus and cross-stack experience across backend, frontend and cloud.
• Experience building AI-enabled solutions and evaluating them with eval datasets or similar.
• Tertiary IT or CS qualification or equivalent practical experience.

Mansioni

• Lead design, development, and operationalisation of AI products and multi-agent workflows on GCP.
• Establish standards for evaluating AI systems including data pipelines, regression testing, and observability.
• Track developments in agent frameworks, distributed compute, and open-source models to bring capabilities into production.
• Ship production-grade code with coding agents, focusing on quality, latency, and cloud cost control.
