Somerset Regional Council is seeking a motivated Casual Labourer / Plant Operator to support construction and maintenance activities across the Somerset region.

The role combines labouring duties with plant operation where applicable, contributing to safe, efficient project delivery in a diverse, outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in labouring duties within construction and maintenance.
• Experience in plant operation and maintenance with relevant Certificate of Competency.
• Knowledge of work health and safety requirements.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Team Somerset is seeking a motivated Casual Labourer / Plant Operator to support the delivery of construction and maintenance activities. This role involves a combination of labourer and plant operations duties (where applicable).

To be successful in the role, you will require:

Experience in labouring duties, in particular construction and maintenance activities;

Experience in plant operation and maintenance together with holding relevant Certificate of Competency;

Knowledge of work health and safety requirements;

Ability to work well in a team environment.
