Job summary

One Solution Group in South Australia is seeking a hands-on L2 ICT Support Engineer to provide second‑level support across desktop, network and cloud environments for government, corporate and education clients. You will be the escalation point for complex issues, create and maintain clear technical documentation, and help ensure system availability, performance and security.

Working with a diverse client base, you’ll mentor junior staff, participate in after‑hours on‑call on-site deployments,

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in ICT support
• Familiarity with ASD Essential Eight cybersecurity framework
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Experience with ticketing/PSA platforms (Autotask preferred)
• Experience with Active Directory & MS 365 administration

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting and resolution of desktop, laptop, and application issues
• Monitor infrastructure health using monitoring tools and respond to alerts to ensure system availability, performance, and security
• Manage assigned tickets with timely updates, documentation, and SLA-compliant resolutions
• Assist with onboarding, device provisioning, and software installations
• Escalate issues per internal processes and keep clients informed
• Create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and client guides
• Mentor junior staff and participate in after-hours on-call roster
• Support on-site and off-site deployments and break-fix activities as required
