Job summary

Fleet Space Technologies in Adelaide seeks a Junior Technical Support to provide first‑line IT assistance to staff across onsite and remote requests. You will diagnose issues, patch Windows and Linux servers, manage tickets in Jira, and maintain ISMS records to stay compliant with DISP and ACSC Essential Eight standards.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in Level 1 IT support, broad exposure to software and hardware, and a strong customer‑facing mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ years in IT support or related field.
• 1-2 years in Level 1 IT support roles with broad exposure to software and hardware.
• Hands-on with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Jira, and Windows/Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with teleconferencing, VoIP, email, and networking.
• Ability to set up a standard operating environment for staff laptops.
• Strong customer service mindset with clear communication across stakeholders.
• Ability to self organize and prioritise workload against multiple deadlines.
• Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks such as ACSC Essential Eight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote technical support to Fleet staff by phone, email, or in person.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues across IT hardware and software.
• Manage and prioritise open tickets, documented in Jira.
• Update Windows and Linux servers with security patches monthly.
• Maintain ISMS records and compliance with DISP and Essential Eight guidelines.
