Job summary

Omni Recruit is partnering with a Sydney wing restaurant group to recruit a Kitchen Supervisor for the Darling Square flagship. You will lead kitchen shifts through peak service, keep every plate consistent, and guide a tight-knit crew.

To apply, you’ll hold Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent), NSW Food Safety Supervisor cert (or willingness to obtain), and full Australian work rights. The role offers $65K–$70K plus super, plus a clear path to Assistant Kitchen Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience as a kitchen supervisor or senior cook in a high-volume kitchen.
• Cert III or IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
• NSW Food Safety Supervisor certificate or willingness to obtain one.
• Speed, stamina and steady leadership.
• Full Australian work rights.

• Run kitchen shifts through peak service periods.
• Keep plates consistent, fast and to spec.
• Manage prep, stock rotation, ordering and wastage.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness and WHS.
• Train and lead cooks and kitchen hands.

• Running kitchen shifts through serious peaks
• Keeping every plate consistent, fast and to spec
• Managing prep, stock rotation, ordering and wastage
• Keeping food safety, cleanliness and WHS tight
• Training and leading cooks and kitchen hands
• Keeping kitchen and front of house in sync

What you'll bring

• Experience as a kitchen supervisor, senior cook or sous chef in a high-volume kitchen
