Job summary

The Star Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Steward to help maintain cleanliness across our back-of-house kitchens, bars and restaurants. You will support the culinary team by ensuring equipment is cleaned, organised and ready for service, while upholding high hygiene standards and completing cleaning checklists.

Qualifications

Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or manual labour.
Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a bonus, but training will be provided.
Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexible availability.

Responsibilities

Maintain cleanliness across back-of-house kitchens, bars and restaurants.
Ensure equipment is cleaned, organised and ready for service.
Uphold high hygiene standards and complete cleaning checklists.
Safely handle and store chemicals and equipment to maintain a secure environment.
