Job summary

The Star Gold Coast is seeking a Kitchen Steward to help maintain cleanliness across our back-of-house kitchens, bars and restaurants. You will support the culinary team by ensuring equipment is cleaned, organised and ready for service, while upholding high hygiene standards and completing cleaning checklists.

This role offers a competitive hourly rate with penalties for nights, weekends and public holidays, uniform provided, and opportunities for career growth at a premier Gold Coast

Qualifications

• Previous experience in kitchen cleaning or manual labour.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and techniques is a bonus, but training will be provided.
• Good communication skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexible availability.

• Maintain cleanliness across back-of-house kitchens, bars and restaurants.
• Ensure equipment is cleaned, organised and ready for service.
• Uphold high hygiene standards and complete cleaning checklists.
