Job summary

Belgravia Leisure’s Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre in Bendigo is seeking a friendly Kiosk Attendant to deliver first-class service to our members and visitors.

You will manage café presentation, cash handling and POS transactions, while promoting healthy options and centre services. Essential certifications include Food Hygiene, First Aid and CPR, plus Police Check/Working with Vulnerable People clearance. Morning, evening and weekend shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Food Hygiene Certificate is required.
• Cashier experience and ability to handle cash.
• Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2) required.
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People clearance required.
• Flexible to work mornings, evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patrons.

• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Promote the centre's services and programs to patrons.

The Role

Our Kiosk Attendants need to have the highest level of customer service skills.

The primary responsibility of our Kiosk Attendants is to deliver first class services to our patrons ensuring it's in line with our Mission, Vision and Values.

Essential: Food Hygiene Certificate is required

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers
• Maintaining the appearance and presentation of the café
• Replenished condiments as needed
• Follow health and safety guidelines
• Cashier experience, taking orders and handling cash
• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems
• Promotethe centres services and programs to ourpatrons
• Develop and maintain good working relations with patrons
• Provide information on our product range, including promoting healthy food options
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Hours may increase during the centre's peak periods
• Previous Barista Experience is highly desirable

Previous experience is a similar role is desirable, but candidates with a friendly attitude and a customer service mindset areencouraged to apply!
