Job summary

Axis Communications is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to manage long-term relationships with major end customers and coordinate across sales, marketing and technical teams. You will develop strategic plans, drive solutions sales, and present proposals to decision makers and site management.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and the ability to travel to client sites. A Bachelor’s degree and experience in a similar sales role are essential to succeed.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent.
• Significant experience in a similar sales position / sales target achievement’s.
• Strategic thinker, with strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Desirable to have worked with hardware and/or software products.
• Good organizational skills, and able to handle multiple priorities.
• Good knowledge of IT networking, IP-based technologies, and applications (desirable).
• Good knowledge of Salesforce (desirable).
• Pro-active self-motivated team player.
• Strong negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain long-term partnerships with both focused and development accounts.
• Develop clear business plans for the End-customers’ accounts or another portfolio as designated aligned with business strategy.
• Set annual targets on each account and continuously follow up on set KPI’s.
• Actively participate in trade shows, seminars, webinars and other promotional sales activities.
• Prepare reports for new and key focused accounts.

Job Title Key Account Manager, End Customer

Job Description As our Key Account Manager, you will work directly with, and manage our long-term relationships with our large account customers, managing their complex needs and priorities. You will be responsible for the strategic management of their accounts with the goal of deepening the Axis relationship. You will be involved in solutions sales and the implementation of accounts, including presentations, and proposals to decision makers and site management. You will build a team around the end customers and coordinate all resources and communication between sales, business development, marketing and technical assistance. Ensuring that end customer documentation is managed and maintained. You will spend meaningful time engaging with clients and building new and existing relationships to create trust, share product knowledge and be solutions focused. This position is based in Brisbane, and there will be a requirement to travel.

Key responsibilities will include:
