Job summary

Dahlsens Family Group of Companies is seeking entry-level team members for our Cairns Trade Centre, Cairns Paint Centre and Innisfail Hardware Store. You will work at the hardware counter, helping tradies, builders and DIYers with a friendly, responsive approach.

You must be 15 years old, still at school, and available to work afternoons, weekends and school holidays. Training will cover products, systems and customer service, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be a school student (15+).
• Able to work afternoons, weekends and school holidays.
• Ready to learn about products, systems and store operations.
• Able to lift/move stock safely when needed.
• Committed to safety and team wellbeing.
• Physically able to lift/move stock when required and care for safety

Responsibilities

• Learn on the job and build confidence.

• Handle stock with care and keep things organized.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We've got great entry-level opportunities for school students across our Cairns Trade Centre, Cairns Paint Centre and Innisfail Hardware Store.

You'll be working at the hardware counter and helping customers find what they need. Whether they're tradies, builders or weekend DIYers, you'll chat with them, ask the right questions and make their visit easy and friendly.

You'll need to be 15 years of age, still at school, able to work afternoons, weekends & school holidays.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE

• Learn on the job and build your confidence
