Job summary

Dahlsens Building Centres Pty is seeking a practical, reliable team member to join our timber, plasterboard and trade sales team. This hands-on role includes yard, warehouse, delivery and customer service duties, with training provided and chances to build skills across the business.

The store operates six days a week, and Saturday work may be rostered. You will load/unload products, pick/pack orders and support customers while keeping the yard safe and tidy.

Qualifications

• Current Forklift Licence (LF) - Essential.
• Current Manual Driver Licence - Essential.
• Demonstrated forklift operating experience in a busy environment.
• Physically fit to safely lift and manually handle products.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage priorities.
• Safety focus for yourself, your team and customers.
• Positive attitude with teamwork and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Safely handle, store and move stock.
• Pick, pack and load customer orders.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Assist trade and retail customers with enquiries.
• Complete customer deliveries when required.
• Check goods against delivery paperwork.
• Operate forklifts, equipment and vehicles safely.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a practical, reliable team member to join our timber, plasterboard and trade sales team. This role is hands‑on and varied, with a mix of customer service, warehouse work and stock handling.

You’ll help load and unload products, pick and pack orders, serve customers at the trade counter, and keep the yard and warehouse safe, tidy and running well.
