Job summary

Seek is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support luxury apartment developments in Sydney. You will work with an experienced Senior PM, receive training, and have opportunities to progress to a PM role.

Key duties include coordinating programs, managing documents and RFIs, subcontractor management, and procurement. Mandarin language skills are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a Junior Project Manager, Contracts Administrator or Assistant Project Manager.
• Experience on high-end class 2 / apartment projects.
• Experience with NSW Planning Portal and procurement processes.
• Procore or Aconex experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with programming and coordination of the project.
• Manage documents and RFIs on the NSW Planning Portal.
• Subcontractor management including agreements, scopes, tender packages, quotes and final contracts.
• Procurement and ordering of materials.
• Assist with RFIs, EOTs and variations administration.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and PM to meet programs, deadlines and budgets.

Due to consistent growth some new luxury apartment developments about to start, they're seeking an ambitious and driven Junior Project Managerto join their team.

Duties

You will be working alongside an experienced and highly skilled Senior Project Manager. He is eager to train and invest on someone looking to grow within the business.

Your duties will include

• Assist with the programming and coordination of the project
• Management of documents and RFIS on the NSW Planning Portal
• Subcontractor management including compiling subcontractor agreements, scope of works, tender packages, negotiatingcontract prices and conditions, reviewing contractor quotesand preparingfinal contract documents
• Negotiating theprocurement and ordering of materials
• Assisting with the administration of RFI’s, EOT’s, variations
• Working closely with site supervisors, Contract Manager and Senior Project Manager to adhere to project programs, deadlines, and budgets.

Experience Required

• Must have 5 years experience as a Junior Project Manager, Contracts Administrator or Assistant Project Manager
• Extensive experience working on high end class 2 / apartments projects
• Ideally have a bachelor’s in construction management or comparative degree
• Have worked on projects in excess of $20m
• Exposure to Procoreor Aconex
• Experience with the NSW Planning Portal
