Job summary

General Linings is seeking a Junior Project Coordinator to support residential and commercial projects in NSW. You will coordinate with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors to keep projects on track and minimise risk.

Entry-level candidates with a construction qualification are welcome, with attention to detail and strong communication essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Contract Management: oversee subcontract administration, including purchase orders, claims, variations, and compliance with contractual requirements.
• Project Coordination: liaise with clients, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflows.
• Procurement & Work Orders: issue purchase orders and place work orders with subcontractors for timely supply and labour scheduling.
• Maintenance Coordination: book maintenance jobs for clients with timely completion and minimal disruption.
• Client and Stakeholder Liaison: maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.

The Role

You’ll coordinate projects for our residential and commercial builder clients, ensuring compliance and clear communication at every stage. Working closely with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors, you’ll help keep projects on track and minimise risk. This role is also open to entry-level candidates, ideally with a qualification in construction or a related field. A high level of attention to detail is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Contract Management: Oversee subcontract administration, including purchase orders, claims, variations, and compliance with contractual requirements.
