Job summary

ITI is seeking a Junior Payroll & People Officer at St Marys to join our team. You will learn payroll and HR operations across Australia and New Zealand, working with our Group Payroll Officer and HR Manager. The role is designed for development with a clear pathway to grow your career in Payroll & HR.

We value detail, proactive learners and strong communicators who are keen to develop across payroll, HR admin and recruitment tasks within a friendly, multi-entity environment.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll across Australia & NZ.
• Assist with employee changes, payroll queries, reconciliations and reporting.
• Maintain employee information and support ELMO HR system.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training and HR admin.
• Support workers compensation, compliance and HR projects.
• Learn systems and help improve processes.

ITI is looking for a Junior Payroll & People Officer to join our team at St Marys.

This is a genuine development opportunity where you'll work closely with our Group Payroll Officer and HR Manager, learning how payroll and HR operate across a multi-entity business with operations across Australia and New Zealand.

You don't need to know everything on day one. We're looking for someone who is keen to learn, asks questions, pays attention to detail and wants to build a career.

What you'll be doing

This is a varied role with exposure to both Payroll and HR, including:

• Supporting the end-to-end payroll function across Australia, New Zealand and associated entities
• Assisting with employee changes, payroll queries, reconciliations and reporting
• Maintaining employee information and supporting our ELMO HR system
• Assisting with recruitment, onboarding, training and general HR administration
• Supporting workers compensation, compliance and HR projects
• Learning our systems and helping improve the way we do things
