Job summary

The BUSY Group, based at our Southport Head Office in the Gold Coast, is seeking a junior IT Asset Officer to gain hands-on experience across IT operations, asset management, procurement support, and lifecycle management.

You will help keep asset records accurate, tag and retire equipment, assist with onboarding/offboarding and internal transfers, and support stocktakes and audits. This role suits someone early in their IT career with a willingness to learn and a relevant certificate.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field (or willingness to work towards one).
• Up to 1 year of experience in IT support, administration, inventory, logistics or a similar environment.
• A current driver's licence and ability to obtain National Police Check and Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records in asset management systems and databases.
• Tag, store, allocate and retire IT equipment.
• Assist with onboarding, offboarding and internal transfers.
• Support stocktakes, asset audits and reconciliations.
• Prepare devices and accessories for deployment.
• Support procurement activities and order tracking.
• Maintain warranty, repair and supplier records.
