Role Overview:

The candidate is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate tracking, compliance, auditing, deployment, and secure disposal of equipment across regional and national locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate asset records and inventories.
  • Coordinate asset deployment, transfers, and disposal.
  • Conduct asset audits and stocktakes across multiple sites.
  • Ensure secure sanitization and disposal of IT equipment.
  • Prepare audit reports, disposal records, and compliance documentation.
  • Work closely with Field Services, Project Managers, and stakeholders.
  • Support asset management process improvements and automation initiatives.

Ideal Candidate

A detail-oriented IT Asset Management professional with experience in inventory control, audits, compliance, asset tracking, and stakeholder coordination, capable of managing the full lifecycle of technology assets in a structured environment.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Must be an Australian Citizen with Baseline active security clearance
  • Strong understanding of asset tracking systems
  • Experience in Australian Government or regulated environments preferred.
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with ICT hardware and software lifecycle.
  • AGSVA clearance required
  • Drivers Licence required (Automatic)
  • Test and Tag experience highly regarded
  • Asset Management experience highly regarded
  • Minimum of 4 years in supporting Deskside support environment
