Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Junior Document Controller in Brisbane CBD, with a transition to the Sunshine Coast as the project mobilises. This role focuses on effective document management, governance and collaboration across project teams.

You will work with TeamBinder and other DMS on large-scale infrastructure, gaining hands-on experience in a supportive, career-building environment on a major project in Australia.

Qualifications

• Experience in a document control role within construction or infrastructure.
• Hands-on use of TeamBinder (InEight) is essential.
• Understanding of document control processes and governance.
• Experience managing technical documentation and controlled records.
• Strong organisational and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced project.
• Experience with Aconex or similar DMS is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of document control across the project lifecycle.
• Maintain document registers, correspondence and technical docs.
• Support review, approval and distribution workflows.
• Ensure current revisions are issued to stakeholders.
• Upload, track and manage drawings, specs and project records.
• Maintain filing systems and retention policies.
• Provide document control support to project teams and stakeholders.
• Assist with reporting and compliance requirements.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of project systems and processes.
