Job summary

First State Auctions in Sydney is seeking a Jewellery Administrator to help prepare fine jewellery, diamonds and gemstones for auction. This hands-on role reviews item information, coordinates certification and valuations, liaises with jewellers and keeps precise records to ensure each piece is ready for auction.

You will use our inventory management system and monitor progress through every stage of preparation.

Qualifications

• Strong administration background.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience in jewellery, luxury retail, auctions or a similar environment would be an advantage.
• Confidence working with detailed product information and systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review jewellery and item information for accuracy.
• Check measurements, descriptions and documentation.
• Coordinate certification, authentication and valuations.
• Liaise with jewellers.
