Job summary

City Fertility is seeking an IVF Nurse Coordinator to guide patients through their fertility journey. You will coordinate treatment cycles, translate complex information into compassionate conversations, and support high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple clinic locations.

This on-site, full-time fixed-term position covers parental leave with potential for permanency. You will work closely with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams, delivering warmth, education, and reassurance

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Postgraduate qualification in Nursing is highly regarded.
• Experience in IVF or Women’s Health is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end IVF/ART treatment cycles and bookings.
• Manage theatre and procedure lists, resources, and scheduling.
• Communicate test results and treatment information clearly.
• Educate patients with accessible, culturally respectful conversations.
• Maintain NSQHS-aligned documentation.
• Collaborate with clinicians for coordinated care and risk management.
• Mentor junior nursing staff and support team development.
• Monitor stock and equipment to reduce waste.
• Contribute to audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Uphold patient privacy and compliance at all times.

About The Role

As an IVF Nurse Coordinator, you will be a trusted clinical guide throughout each patient’s fertility journey. You will coordinate personalised treatment cycles, translate complex information into supportive and empowering conversations, and ensure every stage of care reflects excellence and empathy. Working closely with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams, you will champion safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while providing warmth, education, and reassurance. Full-time fixed term to cover parental leave with potential to be permanent roles.

What You Will Do

• Coordinate end-to-end IVF/ART treatment cycles, ensuring timely bookings and smooth transitions
• Manage theatre and procedure lists, resource allocation, and scheduling
• Communicate test results and treatment information with clarity and empathy
• Conduct patient education sessions using accessible, culturally respectful approaches
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with NSQHS standards
• Collaborate with clinicians and teams to ensure coordinated care and risk management
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff, fostering capability and confidence
• Monitor stock and equipment to maintain readiness and reduce waste
• Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service enhancements
• Uphold patient privacy and organisational compliance at all times

What We Are Looking For

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (meeting NMBA standards).
• Postgraduate qualification in Nursing and experience in IVF/Women’s Health is highly regarded.
• Scanning experience will also be highly regarded
• Skilled in clinical systems and MS Office, with meticulous documentation practices
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to mentor and collaborate effectively
