Job summary

City Fertility is seeking an IVF Nurse Coordinator to guide patients through their fertility journey, coordinating treatment cycles and providing empathetic education. The role collaborates with clinicians to ensure patient-centred, high-quality care on-site in Springfield.

The ideal candidate holds current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, with postgraduate nursing qualifications and IVF/Women’s Health experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (meeting NMBA standards).
• Postgraduate qualification in Nursing and experience in IVF/Women’s Health is highly regarded.
• Scanning experience will also be highly regarded
• Skilled in clinical systems and MS Office, with meticulous documentation practices
• Strong communication skills, empathy, and ability to mentor and collaborate effectively

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end IVF/ART treatment cycles, ensuring timely bookings and smooth transitions
• Manage theatre and procedure lists, resource allocation, and scheduling
• Communicate test results and treatment information with clarity and empathy
• Conduct patient education sessions using accessible, culturally respectful approaches
• Maintain accurate documentation aligned with NSQHS standards
• Collaborate with clinicians and teams to ensure coordinated care and risk management
• Mentor and support junior nursing staff, fostering capability and confidence
• Monitor stock and equipment to maintain readiness and reduce waste
• Contribute to audits, quality improvement initiatives, and service enhancements
• Uphold patient privacy and organisational compliance at all times

As an IVF Nurse Coordinator, you will be a trusted clinical guide throughout each patient’s fertility journey. You will coordinate personalised treatment cycles, translate complex information into supportive and empowering conversations, and ensure every stage of care reflects excellence and empathy. Working closely with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams, you will champion safe, high-quality, patient-centred care while providing warmth, education, and reassurance. This role offers meaningful impact, professional growth, and the chance to help people realise their dream of parenthood.

This position is based in Springfield and is a full-time permanent position. Scanning experience preferred but not essential. Support and training provided.
