Job summary

Great Wall Motors is seeking a hands-on Business Systems & IT Support Specialist to join as the first IT member across Australia and New Zealand. You will span day-to-day IT support, system improvements and governance, ensuring people stay productive and secure in a growing environment.

You’ll troubleshoot laptops, manage the help desk, coordinate external providers, onboard/offboard staff, and help shape the IT function for today and tomorrow.

Qualifications

• Broad, practical experience across IT support, business systems and infrastructure.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, networks, servers and cloud environments.
• Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving department.
• Initiative, ownership and escalation when needed.
• Clear communication and ability to explain tech simply.
• A relevant IT qualification or hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Keeping our people connected by resolving hardware, software, and access issues.
• Managing help desk requests and prioritising issues.
• Coordinating monitoring, maintenance, patches, backups and incident response.
• Onboarding and offboarding, equipment management, user access.
• Working with vendors and external IT support to resolve issues.
• Supporting system upgrades and process improvements.
