Job summary

Harmony Auto Australia seeks an experienced IT Manager/Head of IT to own the Australian IT environment, building a secure, reliable and scalable technology platform for the business. Reporting to the Country Rep, you will partner with China/HQ IT teams, local providers and OEM technology teams to drive the Australian IT roadmap and governance across corporate, dealership, warehouse and service operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with management or senior operations.
• Experience overseeing IT across multiple sites in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, networks, and endpoints.
• Solid cybersecurity and IT risk management understanding.
• Experience with outsourced IT providers and vendors.
• Proven project and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with international or offshore tech teams.
• Automotive, EV, OEM or multi-site industry experience is a plus.

Harmony Auto Australia is growing rapidly across the Australian new energy vehicle market, with an expanding network of dealerships, service operations and corporate functions.

We are looking for an experienced IT Manager/Head of IT to take ownership of our Australian IT environment and help build a secure, reliable and scalable technology platform for the business.

Reporting directly to the Country Rep, you will work across Australian operations while partnering closely with our China/HQ IT teams, local technology providers and OEM technology teams.

What you'll be responsible for

• Lead day-to-day IT operations across our multi-site Australian business.
• Manage outsourced IT providers and technology vendors.
• Develop and implement the Australian IT roadmap.
• Strengthen cybersecurity, IT governance and technology risk management.
• Support corporate, dealership, warehouse and service centre technology.
• Lead IT projects, system implementations and new-site technology requirements.
• Manage business applications including CRM, DMS and other key systems.

What we're looking for

You will ideally have:

• 8+ years' IT experience with previous IT management or senior IT operations experience.
• Experience managing IT across a multi-site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud, networks, Microsoft 365 and endpoint environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity and IT risk.
• Experience managing outsourced IT providers and vendors.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with international or offshore technology teams.

Automotive, EV, OEM, dealership or other multi-site industry experience will be highly regarded.

Experience working with Chinese-based organisations or technology teams is advantageous, and Mandarin language skills are desirable but not essential.

This is more than a traditional IT Manager role.
