Job summary

Tennant Company in Sydney, Australia, is seeking an IT Systems Analyst to ensure stable operation of in-house systems and to resolve end-user issues within SLAs. The role reports to the United States with a dotted line to the ANZ team and is based at the Sydney office in Horsley Park.

You will use remote tools, perform hands-on desktop fixes, maintain IT inventories, and contribute to knowledge bases while supporting printers, barcode scanners, and other peripherals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Advanced knowledge of computer troubleshooting, both software and hardware.
• Experience with desktop operating systems, including Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Application support experience with Microsoft Office and SAP client software.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining wireless barcode scanners and printers.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
• SCCM Imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Alert Management to emerging trends in incidents.
• Act as front-line support for IT service requests and resolve issues escalated from the remote service desk.
• Use remote tools and diagnostic utilities to aid in troubleshooting.
• Research solutions through internal knowledge base and external resources as needed.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools are not appropriate, including hardware replacement.
• Contribute to technician knowledgebase and training.
• Procure and deploy IT hardware and software to end users.
• Maintain IT inventory, including repair and reconfiguration of devices like PCs, printers and RF scanners.
• Provision and de-provision of user accounts to ensure timely access to IT systems.
• Build rapport with end users and coworkers.
• Provide suggestions for continuous improvement.
