Job summary

AlphaClick IT Solutions is seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Melbourne team. The role covers onsite client support and remote helpdesk duties, focusing on troubleshooting, site visits, and documenting client environments.

You will collaborate with local and remote technicians to deliver timely, professional IT solutions. The ideal candidate has MSP experience, strong Microsoft 365 knowledge, and solid Windows networking skills, with a current Australian driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT Support or MSP environment.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
• Understanding of Active Directory and Microsoft Server environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows desktop operating systems.
• Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, switching, and routing.
• Experience with remote support tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Current Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support at client locations across Melbourne
• Handle helpdesk tickets and remote support requests
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues
• Perform client site visits, audits, and technology assessments
• Document site information, photos, and technical details for internal teams
• Assist with workstation deployments, user onboarding and system setups
• Support Microsoft 365 administration activities
• Assist with server maintenance, migrations, and infrastructure projects
• Configure and deploy computers, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Work closely with our local and remote technical teams to resolve issues efficiently
• Keep clients informed through clear and professional communication
• Maintain accurate documentation and update tickets as work progresses
