Job summary

IT Strategic Pty Ltd is seeking a Level 1/Level 2 IT Technician to join our friendly, flexible team in Melbourne. The role involves supporting clients via phone or on-site visits, translating technical information for non-technical users, and taking ownership from start to end of tasks.

We value good communication, responsibility, and the ability to work with others. We offer a 12-month full-time contract with potential for after orientation work-from-home arrangements and a mix of Windows,

Qualifications

• Experience across Windows, Linux and Mac OSX environments.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Drivers license held.
• Ability to prioritise work and manage workload, sometimes in consultation with management.
• Capacity to take responsibility for a task from start to end.

Responsibilities

• Onsite support for clients (PC setup, LAN/ISP connection setup, printer setup).
• Phone help-desk work / remote assistance.
• Domain name registrations.
• Email administration.
• Internal support – PC maintenance.
• Potential future involvement in script programming and network administration.
