Job summary

Urbis Ltd in Brisbane seeks an IT Support Technician to provide Level 1–2 support across the National IT Helpdesk, reporting to the Service Desk Manager. You’ll troubleshoot hardware and software, assist with system upgrades, and promote technology literacy across the business.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary IT qualifications, experience with Office 365, ITIL, and Intune, and a collaborative mindset to support colleagues and optimise the Urbis client experience.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience in an Office 365 environment enhancing collaboration and productivity.
• Strong technical skills in desktop operating systems and hardware troubleshooting.
• Experience in IT support with direct colleague interaction; professional services experience is a plus.
• Experience with IT equipment, mainly Microsoft applications and server tools; Intune.
• Solid understanding of ITIL principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to staff and the National IT Helpdesk.
• Promote the service desk brand with staff engagement across the business.
• Monitor and respond to requests via the Technology Service Desk.
• Support in hardware/software problem resolution and routine system upgrades.
• Assist in configuring and testing new systems and hardware.
• Promote technology literacy and coach users on Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams.
