Job summary

Urbis is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the Technology & Digital team in our Brisbane office. You will provide high-quality Level 1 and Level 2 support to staff as part of our eight-person National IT Helpdesk.

Under the guidance of the Service Desk Manager, you will proactively improve the staff experience and help deliver simple and easy technology solutions. Daily tasks vary—from troubleshooting hardware to supporting Microsoft 365 and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• Degree or tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience in an Office 365 environment and familiarity with Teams is preferred.
• Strong technical troubleshooting skills across desktop OS, software installs, and peripherals.
• Experience working in an IT support role with direct staff interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 IT support to staff across Urbis.
• Monitor and respond to requests via the Technology Service Desk.
• Be the go-to in-office for Microsoft Teams rooms and new technologies.
• Assist with hardware/software problems and system upgrades.
• Configure and test new systems and hardware.
• Promote technology literacy and use of Urbis Collaboration tools.
