Job summary

DRA Global is seeking a desktop support technician to join our Brisbane CBD office on a casual full-time basis. You will provide frontline IT assistance to end-users across the APAC region, resolving hardware, software and network issues promptly to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in IT helpdesk, familiarity with Microsoft 365, and a customer-focused approach. The role offers flexible hours and a modern workplace in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in IT helpdesk or support.
• Experience with Engineering/CAD software is advantageous.
• Knowledge of desktop operating systems, productivity software and basic networking.
• Understanding of Microsoft 365 Suite (Entra, Intune, Exchange) is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in person.
• Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams or vendors as necessary.
• Install, configure, and deploy desktop computers, laptops, software applications, and peripherals.
• Conduct hardware upgrades, replacements, and repairs as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates and patches.
• Monitor system alerts and identify issues to prevent downtime.
• Maintain records of IT equipment, software licenses and inventory.
• Assist in implementing IT security policies and protocols.
