Job summary

Ever Nimble is seeking an IT Support Technician to join the Reactive Support team at our Gold Coast office. You will deliver friendly, high-quality helpdesk support and on-site assistance for a variety of clients, working with Microsoft 365, AD, Fortinet, and a range of hardware.

The role requires 1–2 years of IT support experience, with MSP experience and mining-industry familiarity highly desirable. Travel to client sites will be required, with a company Uber account provided.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years (minimum) of experience in IT support is required for this role;
• Existing helpdesk (ideally MSP) experience is highly desirable;
• Experience supporting the mining industry is highly desirable;
• Familiarity with hardware components including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices;
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written;
• Ability to travel to client sites as needed (via company Uber account).

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second-line IT support to customers in a fast-paced environment;
• Support hardware equipment including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices;
• Support a vast array of software across many industries;
• Handle on-site visits for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs;
• Escalate issues to Senior Technicians or vendors when necessary;
• Maintain knowledge of the latest hardware and software trends and technologies.
