Randstad Digital Australia is seeking an IT Support Officer to provide Level 1 IT delivery and operational support across active hubs and field venues for a large-scale project. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting, hardware deployment, and quick incident response on site in Kyneton.

A current Australian driver licence and willingness to travel between local sites are required. The role demands strong communication, calmness under pressure, and the ability to learn proprietary hardware

The Role

As an IT Support Officer, you will provide critical Level 1 IT delivery and operational support across active operational hubs and field venues for a large scale project. This is a multifaceted role combining technical service desk troubleshooting and escalation with physical hardware deployment.

Location: Kyneton Vic 3444

Rate: $51.55 per hour plus superannuation (12%)

Duration of the project: 29th October 2026 to 4th December 2026

You will be responsible for:

• Acting as the first point of contact for technical enquiries (face to face, onsite).
• Logging, triaging, and managing incident priorities under tight, time critical constraints.
• Setting up, configuring, testing, and decommissioning field devices, laptops, printers, and specialised operational equipment.
• Resolving routine issues around user account logins, password resets, software errors, and basic network connectivity (wired and wireless).
• Maintaining highly accurate asset tracking records and documentation for all deployed equipment.

The Environment & Logistics

• Work Dynamics: Critical function, fast paced environment requiring rostered shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Physical Component: Includes light manual handling of IT equipment and standing for extended durations.
• Travel: Located at a hub but may be required to travel between local sites to assist (a current Australian driver licence is mandatory).
