Job summary

SKG Services in Sydney seeks an IT & Security Operations Manager to lead day-to-day IT operations, strengthen infrastructure and drive security governance. The role reports to the Technology & Information team and focuses on uptime, risk management and continuous improvement across IT and security operations.

The successful candidate will manage procurement, onboarding/offboarding, incident response and reporting to senior stakeholders, delivering practical solutions for a secure and reliable

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure and operations.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, risk management and security best practices.
• Experience with IT procurement, asset lifecycle management.
• Experience on user access, onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Understanding IT security standards and governance frameworks.
• Ability to analyse system performance and security events.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing day-to-day IT operations, infrastructure stability, system performance and uptime.
• Managing network security, cybersecurity and IT risk initiatives to protect systems and data.
• Overseeing IT hardware and software procurement, asset management and lifecycle processes.
• Managing employee IT onboarding and offboarding, including system access, hardware and software allocation.
• Ensuring IT security controls and processes align with regulatory and industry requirements.
• Monitoring security risks, vulnerabilities and incidents with mitigations.
• Producing reports on system performance, security incidents and IT risk.
• Reporting IT and security metrics to senior management and advising on improvements.
• Leading continuous improvement initiatives across IT and security operations.
