Job summary

Seisma Consulting is seeking an IT Manager to own daily IT operations and the internal tech environment in Sydney. The role combines hands-on support with security responsibilities, including Microsoft 365 administration, endpoint management and network protection.

You will work with staff across the firm to ensure reliable, secure systems, execute vulnerability remediation, and maintain asset and licensing records while collaborating with external providers as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in IT support, systems administration or similar technical environment.
• Experience supporting accounting/legal/professional services is a plus.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, AD and Entra ID.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support across hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts, permissions and licenses in Microsoft 365.
• Configure devices, OS, patches and security settings.
• Maintain IT asset records and software licensing.
• Monitor security controls and vulnerability remediation (Essential Eight).
• Coordinate with MSPs and vendors to resolve issues.
