Job summary

Screenrights is a not-for-profit copyright collecting society in Australia. We are creating a dedicated IT Operations Analyst role to build and run day-to-day IT operations, with processes and documentation to support governance of a sensitive data environment.

You will own the operations, be the first point of contact for staff IT requests, and drive onboarding/offboarding, license management, and asset controls across our Sydney office with hybrid onsite/remote work.

Qualifications

• At least two years in IT support, service desk or IT operations.
• Fresh grads may be considered for the right attitude.
• Hands-on administration: users, groups, licence assignment, mailboxes, workspace permissions and MFA.
• Endpoint support across platforms with a modern device management platform (Kandji).
• Understanding user access lifecycle and timely revocation.
• Strong organization, documentation and follow-through.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical colleagues.
• Networking troubleshooting across DNS, DHCP, Wi‑Fi, VPN and switching.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day IT operations and report to the Lead DevSecOps Engineer.
• Be the first point of contact for staff IT requests and incidents, in-office and remote.
• Set up a single intake channel and lightweight ticketing system; track targets and root causes.
• Own joiner–mover–leaver processes with People & Culture; manage access profiles.
• Maintain subscription and licence registers; reconcile IT spend; control shadow IT.
• Manage contracts and a central renewal calendar; assess value before renewals.
• Maintain a single asset register and standard device builds with encryption and policy.
• Write runbooks and automate repetitive tasks; support security uplift to ACSC Essential Eight.
• Occasionally support incident response and audit requirements.
