Job summary

Tasmania is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to lead IT governance, security, and service delivery across software, hardware, network, and data management within our Australian operations.

You will plan and execute projects, set policies, and drive process improvements while collaborating with multiple departments to deliver scalable technical solutions and reduce operating costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/Automation.
• 5+ years IT service operations experience in Australia.
• Strong IT project management experience for new site launches.
• Knowledge of IT governance and compliance.
• Familiar with ITIL, ISO27000, and SOX.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assess technology trends and design IT roadmaps to support growth.
• Oversee IT operations governance to meet business needs across software, hardware, network, cyber security and data compliance.
• Plan, execute and track IT projects with standard PM methodologies to meet timelines and budget.
• Develop and enforce IT policies, governance, and security standards for data privacy and risk management.
• Manage day-to-day IT service performance, infrastructure, and data management.
• Mitigate cyber security risks and coordinate cross-functional technical solutions.
• Optimize IT processes to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
• Set up and optimize ITIL processes and the IT service platform.
• Coordinate with teams to provide end-user support and vendor management.
• Oversee IT asset lifecycle and licenses; training and onboarding.
