Job summary

seek.com.au in Sydney seeks an experienced in-house IT professional to own the IT function, coordinate with an MSP for security, hosting and domain management, and drive improvements across licensing, assets, and access controls.

You will lead initiatives to achieve Essential 8 ML2 maturity and support DISP readiness, with early start availability and occasional travel to Sydney and other sites as required.

Qualifications

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support across the business.
• Experience managing a Managed Service Provider relationship and enforcing SLAs.
• Handle software licensing, IT purchasing, asset management and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Develop reports, dashboards and automated workflows for management visibility.
• Administer SharePoint, websites and portals, and explore AI tool integrations.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for IT support across the business.
• Managing our MSP relationship - holding them to service levels, interrogating quotes and scopes, and making sure we get what we pay for
• Managing user profiles, accounts, access and permissions, including staff onboarding and offboarding
• Owning software licensing, IT purchasing, equipment setup and the asset register
• Building reports, dashboards and automated workflows that give management visibility
• Developing and administering SharePoint, websites and portals
• Finding where AI tools can genuinely take work off people's hands - and integrating them where they stack up
