Job summary

Council seeks a Team Leader IT Infrastructure & Operations to guide a skilled team delivering day-to-day IT services across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. You will oversee cyber security, system resiliency and integrations while driving service excellence for a large organisation.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and a track record of delivering IT operations improvements in multi-site settings.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in an Information Technology Operations role.
• Operational Leader experience in private & public hybrid cloud environments and multiple SaaS environments.
• Demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge/skill in delivering Information technology to a medium to large organisation.
• Self-motivated with an ability to manage multiple projects.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and develop staff in a team environment.
• Demonstrated high-level oral and written communication skills with the proven ability to motivate and lead people in quality improvement.
• Exceptional customerservice and vendor management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to assess change and implement process improvement.
• Experience with on-premises to cloud migrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of technical experts delivering day-to-day IT operations across on-premise, cloud and hybrid environments.
• Provide high-level technical guidance to ensure cyber security, system resiliency and efficiency.
• Manage vendor relationships and deliver exceptional IT customer service.
• Drive continuous improvement and project delivery across multiple workstreams.
