Job summary

Camden Council’s Digital, Technology and Innovation Branch seeks a Team Leader IT Infrastructure & Operations. You will lead a team delivering day-to-day ICT operations across on-premise, hybrid cloud, and SaaS environments, ensuring security and reliability while supporting council services.

Reporting to the Head of Technology Services, you will foster staff development, manage complex projects, and drive improvements in service delivery. Hybrid work and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in an Information Technology Operations role.
• Demonstrated operational leader experience in private & public hybrid cloud environments and multiple SaaS environments.
• Demonstrate a high level of technical knowledge/skill in delivering IT to a medium to large organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of IT professionals to provide day-to-day operations of Council ICT systems (on-premise, cloud, SaaS).
• Ensure cyber security, system resiliency and efficiency are maintained.
• Provide exceptional IT customer service and vendor management.

Council's Digital, Technology and Innovation Branch are onthe lookout for an Infrastructure and Operations Team Leader. Reportingto the Head of Technology Services, you will be working alongside your peers inthe Business Applications and Service Delivery Teams to provide exceptional ITcustomer service and support to Council. You will lead a team of technicalexperts with a primary focus on providing a high level of technical knowledgefor the day-to-day operations of the Councils ICT systems, includingon-premise, public and private cloud computing, multi-site network, extensiveintegrations and bespoke software packages, ensuring cyber security, systemresiliency and efficiency are maintained.

Relevant tertiaryqualifications and/or extensive experience in an Information TechnologyOperations role

Demonstrated relevantOperational Leader experience in private & public hybrid cloudenvironments and multiple SaaS environments

Demonstrate a high levelof technical knowledge/skill in delivering Information technology to amedium to large organisation

Self-motivated with anability to manage multiple projects

Demonstrated ability tolead, motivate and develop staff in a team environment

Demonstrated high-leveloral and written communication skills with the proven ability to motivateand lead people in quality improvement
