The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of related experience, strong Excel skills, and a collaborative, proactive mindset to thrive in a startup-style setting and support continuous improvement on the floor.

Qualifications

• 1 year minimum experience in materials control, inventory, fulfillment, production, manufacturing, customer service, or retail.
• Experience on or supporting a high-mix, low-volume production floor.
• Ability to navigate between material handlers, planners, engineers, and production technicians.
• Strong attention to detail to identify discrepancies in records.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to perform deep dives into issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Receive material bags and verify components needed for technicians.
• Issue work orders on time and track materials and sub-assemblies.
• Inspect sub-assemblies for accuracy and quality before labelling shadow boxes.
• Organize and maintain shadow boxes for easy access by technicians.
• Collaborate with material handlers, planners, engineers, and production technicians on the floor.
• Identify issues in materials flow and inventory discrepancies and propose solutions.
