Job summary

Weir is seeking a Senior Inventory Planner to optimize inventory across APAC, starting with Australia. The role requires close collaboration with supply chain, demand planning, procurement, and manufacturing to balance service levels with working capital.

You will analyze inventory metrics, develop forecasts, and drive improvements in governance and data quality while working in a hybrid Sydney-based environment. A strong background in engineering-adjacent settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years in inventory or supply planning in multi-site environments
• Advanced Excel skills for planning and reporting
• ERP/MRP experience, preferably SAP, with stock management and forecasting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret data autonomously

Responsibilities

• Inventory Planning & Execution across APAC, initially Australia, balancing service, working capital and ops performance.
• Data Analysis & Reporting using dashboards and standardised reports.
• Collaborate with supply chain, demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, sales and finance.
• Drive Continuous Improvement in inventory processes, data quality and governance.
