Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a Demand Planner to own forecasting and purchasing across finished goods and spare parts. You will coordinate with a logistics coordinator, ensuring stock availability across a national 3PL network and contributing to ERP/WMS projects.

The role requires strong Excel and data analysis skills, Pronto experience is valued, and a proactive, independent working style. Office-based five days a week with clear visibility to leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience in demand planning, inventory control or purchasing.
• Background in import, wholesale or distribution well regarded.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
• Pronto experience well regarded.
• Exposure to an ERP or WMS implementation highly regarded.
• Genuine interest in using AI to improve forecasting and processes.
• A self starter who can work independently and take initiative.
• Strong communication skills to work with suppliers and freight partners.
• Happy to work from the office five days a week.

Responsibilities

• Forecast demand across a range of finished goods and spare parts
• Manage purchasing for both core range and special order products
• Maintain the right stock balance across a national 3PL network
• Analyse sales history, promotions and stock levels to build accurate forecasts
• Identify supplier deals and buying opportunities
• Liaise with freight forwarders to confirm shipments and match POs
• Hand over inbound shipments to logistics for delivery
• Coordinate interstate stock transfers and container consolidation
• Support spare parts availability for warranty and service needs
• Use AI tools to lift forecast accuracy and streamline planning
• Contribute to future ERP and WMS projects as the business grows
