Job summary

O’Brien Glass Industries Limited is seeking an Inventory Controller to support the national supply network from Padstow, with a future move planned to Badgerys Creek NDC in 2027. The role focuses on improving stock availability, supplier management and forecast accuracy.

You will join a high-performing Supply & Distribution team and contribute to continuous improvement and cost reduction while maintaining strong customer focus across the business.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and stock control.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to prioritise, multitask and work independently.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders (weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
• Manage national & international suppliers.
• Validate invoices and maintain accurate PO records.
• Coordinate container deliveries, packing lists and shipping documents.
• Review forecasts and maintain forecast accuracy.
• Monitor PTD sales, adjust forecasts and manage danger stock.
• Issue monthly supplier performance reports.
• Support branches with product availability enquiries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and waste reduction.
