Job summary

O’Brien is seeking an Inventory Controller to support our national supply network from Padstow, with a planned move to Badgerys Creek NDC in 2027. You will create and process POs, manage suppliers, validate invoices and coordinate shipments to ensure product availability across the network.

The role requires inventory management experience, strong attention to detail, and effective communication. Knowledge of MS Word/Excel is preferred, with automotive knowledge considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Inventory management experience essential.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Intermediate MS Word and Excel skills.
• Automotive knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create and process purchase orders (weekly/fortnightly/monthly).
• Manage national & international suppliers.
• Validate invoices and maintain PO records.
• Coordinate container deliveries and shipping docs.
• Review forecasts and adjust accordingly.
• Monitor sales and manage danger stock.
• Prepare supplier performance reports.
• Support branches with availability inquiries.
