Job summary

GENERAL Australia is seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to own inventory accuracy across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Western Sydney, you’ll work with warehouse, 3PL, sales and supply chain teams to improve stock integrity and reporting.

You will analyse discrepancies, drive process improvements, and contribute to SOPs while managing returns, damaged stock and routine counts. This role offers stability in a leading HVAC brand, with opportunities to impact inventory controls

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Inventory Management with strong data analysis.
• Experience using and optimizing inventory management systems.
• Ability to analyse data, investigate variances and communicate with teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Purchasing, Logistics or Inventory Management desirable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of inventory control across ANZ finished goods locations.
• Coordinate annual stocktakes and cycle counts; investigate discrepancies.
• Ensure inventory records align between internal and warehouse systems.
• Manage returned goods, write-offs, damaged stock and seconds inventory.
• Collaborate with warehouse and 3PL partners to resolve issues.
• Analyze trends and provide reporting; contribute to SOPs and policies.
• Support system testing and process improvements to improve accuracy.
