Job summary

Heat and Control, Inc. is seeking a Spare Parts Sales Officer who is technically minded and customer-focused to deliver exceptional service across local and international markets.

You will sell spare part solutions, prepare quotations for parts and equipment, and assist with in-house equipment trials while maximising sales across Heat and Control’s product and spare parts range. This busy role requires strong communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in an engineering-based sales environment.
• Engineering trade qualification or similar.
• Knowledge of equipment replacement parts.
• Knowledge of Heat and Control equipment or food processing machinery.
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, interpersonal).
• Strong computer literacy with spreadsheets, databases and document apps.
• Effective planning, organisation and time-management to meet deadlines.

Prepare quotations for parts and/or equipment for both internal and external customers.

Assist/conduct in-house equipment trials including setting up and dismantling equipment.

Actively contribute to maximising sales across the entire Heat and Control product and spare parts range.

Perform a variety of additional sales‑related tasks that help the team deliver results and outstanding service.

What You Bring

Experience in an engineering‑based sales environment — this is essential.

Completion of an engineering trade or similar.

Knowledge of equipment replacement parts is essential, as it the ability to sell and communicate via the telephone.

Knowledge of Heat and Control equipment or food processing machinery — an advantage.

Excellent communication skills — written, verbal, and interpersonal.

Strong computer literacy, including spreadsheets, databases, and document applications.

Effective planning, organisation, and time‑management skills to meet deadlines and handle competing priorities.
