Belimo, a global leader in HVAC actuator solutions, is seeking an HVAC Sales Engineer for our Sydney team. You will support the sales force, prepare project estimates, and manage tenders across commercial HVAC projects while delivering excellent service to customers.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Mechanical, Electronic or HVAC Engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC and/or hydronic systems is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in estimating, tendering or technical sales is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage project tenders from initial take‑offs to award.
• Prepare accurate quotations using Belimo products and tools.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers by phone, email, or at the trade counter.
• Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants and customers.
• Coordinate with internal departments to deliver requirements efficiently.
• Maintain customer data, activities and opportunities in CRM.
• Analyze project data to support future tender opportunities.
• Follow up quotations and identify new opportunities for growth.

About the Role

As an HVAC Sales Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting our sales team by preparing project estimates, managing tenders and delivering outstanding service to customers across the commercial HVAC industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage project tenders from initial take-offs through to successful project award.
• Prepare accurate quotations using Belimo products and selector tools.
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers via phone, email and at the trade counter.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants and customers.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer project requirements are delivered efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer information, sales activities and opportunities within our CRM system.
• Analyse project data and market information to support future tender opportunities.
• Follow up quotations, identify new opportunities and contribute to business growth.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A qualification in Mechanical, Electronic or HVAC Engineering.
• Knowledge of HVAC and/or hydronic systems (desirable but not essential).
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage professionally with customers.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in estimating, tendering or technical sales (desirable).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A strong work ethic, willingness to learn and a desire to build a long-term career.
