Job summary

Big River Group – Mount Druitt is seeking an Internal Sales professional to deliver exceptional customer service and provide seamless sales and administrative support across the region. You will process orders, assist account managers, respond to inquiries, and maintain accurate customer records.

The role requires experience in internal sales or customer service, strong communication, detail-orientation and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales, administration or customer service.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative, but able to work independently.
• Proficiency in Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of timber/building products industry (advantageous).
• Understanding WHS practices (valued).

Responsibilities

• Process inbound sales orders via phone, email and over the counter.
• Assist Account Managers with order entry, customer follow-up and coordination.
• Respond to customer enquiries with timely and accurate information.
• Maintain sales and customer records within company systems.
• Prepare reports, quotes and update customer databases.
• Coordinate warranty claims and liaise with internal teams.
• Support showroom displays, brochures and sales materials as required.
