Job summary

Lead Group in Seven Hills (Western Sydney) is seeking an Internal Technical Sales specialist to support customers by phone and email, guiding them to the right technical products and managing the quote-to-delivery cycle.

You will work with engineering on technical applications, coordinate with workshop and production, and maintain accurate ERP data while following pricing guidelines. The role is full-time and office-based with growth opportunities in a growing Australian manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal sales or customer service.
• Ability to prepare quotations and process orders.
• Comfort discussing technical product requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up.
• Experience with ERP or sales/order management system.

Responsibilities

• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
• Understanding customer requirements and recommending suitable products
• Preparing, processing and following up quotations
• Processing sales orders and coordinating customer requirements
• Following up customers regarding outstanding quotations
• Providing updates on orders, lead times and deliveries
• Liaising with the workshop and production team around customer orders
• Working with engineering on more technical applications
• Liaising with local and international suppliers where required
• Supporting external sales and management
• Maintaining accurate customer, quotation and sales information within the ERP system
• Working within established pricing and discount parameters
• Contributing to the development of more standardised internal sales and quoting processes
